The Harford County Drug Prevention, Intervention & Treatment Symposium is an annual conference with a mission to bring awareness to the community on a variety of drug-related topics.
With the theme of Help | Understanding | Hope, this year's symposium will focus on health and understanding, stigma and practice impact, social anxiety in youth, digital and online safety, smoking trends, Maryland's opiate overdose program, approaching a loved one about addiction, relapse prevention, and prevention approach to opiate addiction.
The symposium is hosted by the Harford County Department of Community Services Office of Drug Control Policy in partnership with the Harford County Sheriff's Office, Harford County Public Schools, the Harford County Health Department and Ashley Addiction Treatment and will be held:
