Green Choices. Healthy Streams.
Heavenly Waters Park Stream Restoration
Expected construction start: Summer 2021, completion: Spring 2022
The Heavenly Waters Park Stream Restoration is a collaborative project between Harford Streams and Harford County Parks and Recreation.
The purpose of this project is to remove a portion of the existing pond, recreate the stream channel, streamside wetland, and habitat. This project improves stream health by removing pollutants from parking lot runoff while providing a large scale example of how a rain garden could be incorporated into commercial or even residential properties. This project not only improves stream health but also improves aesthetics.
