Our Continuum of Care system works to connect people experiencing homelessness or a housing crisis with housing assistance as quickly as possible. As we work toward this goal, people experiencing homelessness may access a variety of programs located throughout the County to meet their basic needs such as:
Emergency shelter
Meals
Showers
Medical care
Harford County provides approximately 316 year-round beds for single adults and households with children. Additional beds are available during freezing weather activation. The Continuum of Care provides:

Domestic Violence Shelter for single adults and families with children
Permanent housing placements for single adults and families based on availability and prioritized for those households with the greatest need.
